Well with the travel bug in me at its peak, I started my plans for a road trip to Bhutan which I plan for Dec’17 with dates to be finalised.

The current planning Phase 1 is as below:

I stay in Hyderabad, Telangana in India and looking at the below itinerary:

Day One: Hyderabad – Vishakhapatnam (~650kms/ 11hrs)

Start from Hyderabad in the morning with a breakfast break at Suryapet, Lunch at Vijayawada and finally rest for the day at Vishakhapatnam

Day Two: Vishakhapatnam to Bhubaneshwar (~441kms/8hrs)

Day 3: Bhubaneshwar to Kolkata (~440kms / 9hrs)

Day 4: Kolkata to Siliguri (566 kms / 12 hrs)

Day 5: Siliguri to Thimphu, Bhutan (322kms / 15hrs) 

Need to check the time taken at International Border for permits and other documentation and revisit the time duration.

This is my stage one of planning with a total plan to take 3-4 weeks leave
